Bag Dust collection treatment project

       Bag-type dust collection and treatment project is a kind of high-efficiency and environmental protection

BAG filter is a kind of equipment that uses filter material (usually bag) to filter and remove dust. 

Through interception, collision, diffusion and electrostatic effect,the solid particles in the air are trapped on the

1Principle

    The working principle of bag filter is mainly based on the filtering effect of filter material. 

When the dust gas through the bag, the dust particles are retained in the bag surface,and the clean air 

is discharged through the bag pores. 

This process mainly depends on the physical characteristics and structure of the bag material,as well as the 

characteristics of dust particles in the airflow. 

The dust removal efficiency of bag filter is affected by many factors, including bag material,air velocity, 

dust concentration, dust cleaning method, etc.  


The dust removal process of bag filter involves many negative effects,including sieving effect, inertial collision effect, 

hook effect, diffusion effect, gravity settling effect and electrostatic effect. 

These effects work together to form a thick layer of dust particles on the surface of the bag,That is,"Primary adhesion layer”or“Second filter layer”, further improve the dust removal efficiency.

2Process flow

    The technological process of bag-type dust collection treatment project 

usually includes the following steps:

2-1Pre-treatment    

     Dust-containing gas first into the pre-treatment system, cyclone, inertial separator

 and other equipment to remove larger particles and impurities,reduce the burden of subsequent bag filter.


2-2Filter dust                          

     After the pre-treatment of gas into the filter room bag filter.

Under the filtering action of the cloth bag, the fine dust particles in the gas are trapped on the surface of 

the cloth bag,and the clean air is discharged through the pores of the cloth bag.


2-3、Dust cleaning treatment 

     With the accumulation of dust on the bag surface,bag permeability gradually reduced, dust removal 

efficiency will be affected. 

Therefore, it is necessary to clean the bag regularly. 

Cleaning methods usually include mechanical beating, pulse blowing, etc. ,the purpose is to shake off the dust 

layer on the surface of the bag or blow down,to restore the air permeability of the bag.


2-4Discharge and post-treatment                          

     The clean air treated by BAG filter can be discharged directly into the atmosphere.

If further reduction of emission concentration or removal of specific pollutants is required,post-treatment 

systems such as activated carbon absorbers, wet electrostatic precipitators can also be set up.
